How can Judo help you or your children?

Well there is so much that Judo can do for you. Confidence, cardio, strengthening, flexibility, friendships and let’s not forget the self-defence part of Judo. Both males and females can enjoy doing Judo.

Great for All Ages

This sport is great for children who are identified as ADHD, Autism and any other attention or social disorder. Also it is the only Martial Art that the blind can do and can compete in the Paralympics’.

Judo has a wide range of appeal, as a sport, an art, a discipline, a recreational pastime, a social activity, a fitness program, a means of self-defence, and a way of life.

The bond between kids and their parents is fun as they can do this together. My mother has always said that it was one of the best things that ever happened to me.
Judo is a Martial Art and is your best form of self-defence.  There is a difference between what we teach the kids and the adults. Kids under the age of 14 learn ground work, throws and self-defence and they do not learn submissions, safety first. As a grappling sport it is a must for (MMA) Mixed Martial Art, to learn take downs that entails over 67 different throws and submissions. [For example, chokes, arm & leg locks.]
